I have a garden style tub. Can I still get a CleanCut product installed?
Garden tubs have many different styles, and it really depends on the specific tub. If you’d like us to take a closer look at your tub, please send photos and measurements to admin@tubtransformers.com From there we can discuss options!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. At checkout, you will have the option to choose your preferred payment method in person.
What is the product made of?
All CleanCut inserts are made of composite polyethylene plastic – an extremely durable, hard plastic.
My tub has sliding shower doors. Can I still get a CleanCut product installed?
Yes – the sliding doors will just have to be removed prior to installation (and cannot be put back on). We recommend purchasing a new shower curtain in place of the doors. This will also have an additional cost.
My bathtub has a liner. Can I still get a CleanCut product installed?
No- You might not know what is under the liner. If it is a cast iron tub, the heat from the cut can melt the liner. Also, the liner could become loose from the back and forth movement of the cutting during installation.
I have a Step but now I want to take a bath. What can I do?
You are able to replace an existing CleanCut Step with a CleanCut Convertible, which includes a center insert that allows you to take a full bath. You will need to remove the entire Step and replace it with the Convertible unit
Do your products work with a cast iron tub?
Yes- We can install the kit onto a cast iron tub but will take possibly 3 to 4 hours. This will also have an additional cost.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes, we take the security of your personal information seriously. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Your payment information will only be used for order processing using Quick books.
How can I contact your customer service?
Our customer service team is available to assist you via email, phone. You can find our contact information on our websites Contact Us page. We strive to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
My bathtub has jets. Can I still get the product installed?
Installing on a tub with jets may be possible, but we will need to take a closer look and provided any recommendations. If it is possible to install our product on your tub, the installer would need to cap off the jets prior to installation and the jets will no longer be functional. This will also have an additional cost.
Do your products work with a clawfoot tub?
Unfortunately, CleanCut products are unable to be installed in clawfoot style bathtubs due to their unique design. Clawfoot tubs have just a single bathtub sidewall (what you step over to get into the tub) and are often elevated on “feet”. CleanCut products are designed to be installed in more traditional-style bathtubs that have a tub rail or wall that is comprised of an inside and outside wall that extends completely to the floor.
Do you install the kit in mobile homes and manufactured homes?
Yes we can install tubs in mobile and manufactured homes. In both types of structures, we usually find conventional types of tub with much lower aprons (outer walls). Because of this, mobile home shower conversions generally end up with tub step-ins of from 3″ to 5″.
